Snow day in the Triangle- which means: schools are closed, things are being postponed/rescheduled, and I get to catch up on the dreaded emails. And other activities like posting on the blog. It's been a while since I've written.
The Foundation has been an unusually busy place these last few months and I am just now feeling like I can think about the end of the year. But of course it is December, which typically is our busiest month- and we certainly don't want to complain about that. We WANT it to be very busy this month. Gifts and grants is what it's all about. And I'm hoping that bell outside my office rings more than once..

On Tuesday, we held our last Board meeting of the year, followed by a reception and toast made by our Chair Phail Wynn. I have said many times that we have a brilliant board, and one often hears CEOs/Exec Directors say the same thing about their boards. But I continue to be impressed by the level of commitment that our members have for the Foundation. Outstanding. We thank them for all they do.
Here are some pictures. And off to 2011 we go..
